SHOES
Shoes are footwear for protecting and comforting the feet while performing various tasks. The foot has more bones than any other part of the body and is vulnerable to environmental hazards such as sharp stones and hot ground, and shoes protect the foot from these injuries. The design of shoes has changed a lot over time and their appearance depends on their function. Today’s shoes have a great difference in style, complexity, and cost, and the beauty aspect is also considered in shoe design.
Characteristics of a good shoe:

- Be comfortable and light enough.
- Have a maximum heel of 2.5 cm (1 inch).
- Have a suitable sole.
- To have the ability to breathe the foot through the upper.
In terms of application, shoes are divided into two categories: normal, sports, special, and industrial, and they are made with different raw materials.
Types of shoe soles
- PU shoe soles
One of its distinctive features is its low weight and high resistance. The percentage of wear and breakage in it is very small, it is also very flexible and resistant to slipping.
- TPU shoe sole
Among the properties of this material is that it is transparent and colorless and has the ability to be dyed, that’s why they have a high variety of colors.
- EVA shoe sole
It is considered one of the most widely used raw materials in making shoe soles. They have the most flexibility and the least weight. For this reason, this material is used in most sports and comfortable shoes.
- PVC shoe soles
They are also known as plastic soles and are cheap and affordable.
- Rubber shoe soles
These soles have a higher weight, but they have very high strength and resistance, and they are not used in casual shoes. But they are one of the suitable options for use in climbing and military shoes.
Types of sandal soles:
- Termo shoe soles
This type is heat insulating and suitable for use in hot and cold seasons, on the other hand, it has a high resistance against slipping, wear, and breaking.
- TPU shoe sole
In addition to having a very high resistance, these soles give a beautiful appearance to the shoes and are used for stylish and formal leather shoes.
